A great and highly intelligent man just not a business man, I met him back in 1984 while doing my computer degree, he was a very nice man RIP Sir Clive.

Just seen that Nathan Ake's father passed away minutes after Ake scored for City in the CL last night. At least he went out celebrating a special moment.
Charlie Austin's nan passed, yesterday I think, too.

Bit of a hero of mine. Had a serious stroke in 2001 but came back, 10 years on, to play A man and his dog, as he was, ie elderly and infirm. Considered early on by some to lack credibility as a co star due to his ordinary looks, he went on to film with the likes of Raquel Welch, Gina Lolabrigida, Claudia Cardinale, Catherine Deneuve, Ursula Andress, Sofia Loren etc. Famous for the original, early 60s version of Richard Gere's Breathless remake where he starred opposite the very modern but ill fated and FBI-hounded, Jean Seberg. Such a cool look. People dressed so well in the 50's/early 60's. Compare that to the hoodie/trackie bottom/bad jeans uniform that most people (myself included) wear these days. I was born in the wrong era (But no I'm not 50's throw back Mark Lamar)

That's sad. Great player, great man, always very open, honest and funny...and a Swindon legend to boot without kicking a ball for us (see above)...been in poor health for some time I understand.
'Saint & Greavsie' both gone...how very sad...
