This series is quite possibly the longest one day series in the history of world cricket.Today its South Africa V Sri lanka, usually i'd be cheering Sri Lanka, but we need them to lose. But at the moment its looking like they are going to win their third game in a row,in a series in which they are playing the Aussies and South Africa,un- fucking- believable.

It seems like Sri Lanka had a complete turnaround as soon as we needed them to start losing ...

Im worried that India are looking very good too .. that is going to be another VERY HARD tour

Yep,89-3,there is still hope Smiley
Sri lanka have four games left to play, five if todays game is included. And there are potentially three games left at the end of the series,so they could play seven more games before the series finishes. We have two odis before April which is the cut off point, when the ICC one day table is set in stone.Crap :-))(

South Africa won by 9 runs, sounds like it was a decent game.Sri lanka are now sixth and the Indian's have moved back to fifth. Its ever changing in the world of cricket Wink

It does look likely, although we are on the same points as Sri lanka and one behind the Indians. But both of them are due to play more games than  us before the cut off point,so there is a chance they will get more points BUT they could lose them too.Its all very confusing Wink

Yes it's going to be a hard tour, but looking good now? I'm not so sure. Whilst the batsmen have been filling their boots on roads their seam attack is non-existant. They do not have one established seamer.

I don't think we can judge them on the tour going on at the moment though Wink The pitches in Pakistan are obviously very flat and their batsmen [unlike ours] have done very well.
Playing them in India is a different scenario, but i think with all our four fast boys back we could do something against them.Like draw Smiley

I've just seen that as well, its a big loss Sad .But i think its best if we go to India with everyone fit, unlike in Pakistan where players kept on being called up.I think Blackwell deserves a chance, but by my calculations if KOS doesn't go that means just Udal and Blackwell are on the plane,it still leaves a place free doesn't it?I thought they were going to announce a mystery third spinner  :?
