Surely it shud be us after him!
"Northampton manager Colin Calderwood says that Rushden and Diamonds midfielder Andy Burgess is a possible transfer target in January. Calderwood told BBC Radio Northampton: "We have not make a bid but we are aware of Rushden's situation and especially his situation.
"Andy will become a free agent in the summer and because of this they may take a transfer fee for him in January.
"He is one of a number of players that we are looking at." "

We looked at him in the past, but Northampton are the money bags of the basement and probably pay more than we could.

I thought he was an Andy King target? Iffy wouldn't necessarily be after the same players as the previous manager eh? Because he has ideas of his own? And yeah, we can't afford him anyway

I think we should put our entire first team squad on longer better paid contracts. Double their win bonuses, take a bit of pressure off them. Then we can bring back the decent company car scheme, so they feel more important.
That'll fix the problem.

Because neither O Hanlon or Ifil has shown anything at all this season .. grossly under acheived ...
Comyn Platt should become first choice with Leigh Henry as cover ... and then the money could be used on strengthening a pathetically poor and weak midfield

Andy King didnt see any of the Sam Parkin transfer money (however much it was, but more than we would get for Ifil & O'Hanlon doubled) over the summer, so why would now be any different we have no money we will never buy a player for money again

Money, get away. Get a good job with good pay and you're okay. Money, it's a gas. Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash. New car, caviar, four star daydream, Think I'll buy me a football team.
Money, get back. I'm all right Jack keep your hands off of my stack. Money, it's a hit. Don't give me that do goody good bullshit. I'm in the high-fidelity first class traveling set And I think I need a Lear jet.
Money, it's a crime. Share it fairly but don't take a slice of my pie. Money, so they say Is the root of all evil today. But if you ask for a raise it's no surprise that they're giving none away.
"HuHuh! I was in the right!" "Yes, absolutely in the right!" "I certainly was in the right!" "You was definitely in the right. That geezer was cruising for a bruising!" "Yeah!" "Why does anyone do anything?" "I don't know, I was really drunk at the time!" "I was just telling him, he couldn't get into number 2. He was asking why he wasn't coming up on freely, after I was yelling and screaming and telling him why he wasn't coming up on freely. It came as a heavy blow, but we sorted the matter out"
