I actually think Doherty's alright. I've heard a number of interviews with him and he comes across as a genuinely decent bloke who has a lot of problems. I don't think he's the man that some sections of the media portray and I don't think he's revelling in his addiction, far from it.
He is a fairly talented musician/songwriter although the babyshambles album only has a couple of really great songs.
