Today we had Platt, Migs and Gurney in centeral midfield positions. If we play 3 in the middle, we need at least one of them to be attack minded. I didnt go to the game today, but from the sounds of the radio, Swindon could have played all day and night, and still wouldn't have scored.
Well if you didnt go to the game then SHUT THE FUCK UP!

I listened to Iffy's post match comments, definite signs of arsehole puckering. I don't think he knows what he can do to win games with the players at his disposal. Time to offer Roy Keane his first crack at management.
Assuming Roy won't join us, now relagation is more likely than not, there is not much to lose. After next week's suspensions, the first job is to make a list, who can play, then make a second list who wants to play. Once there is a combined list of "can plays" and "want to plays," stick the rest of the first team squad into a reserve game. From that, decide who could play. From there, stick to 4:4:2, and play only those who can play and want to play, put the could plays on the bench. For the rest, put them on the transfer list, or send them back to their clubs if loan players. Note that the "want to plays" have to show effort, running off the ball, tracking back, and going in for 50/50 balls, etc. The "can plays," will be the hard part, let's say mid-Div II level minimum.

ASSUMING Roy wont join us?!!! Of course he wont! The board could always ask, won't cost anything, and if he's been to the pub he might say yes. If he says no, Okay it was only a phone call. We have had Ardilles and Hoddle as managers, not forgetting Macari. Maybe a phone call to Honda for sponsorship might help. Last time we really stunk up the Football League, Macari got some players together including some non-leaguers and the rest is history. Actually, Macari would keep them off alcohol, wonder what he's doing, besides being a pundit. Looks like the Conference for us, then the Trust will take over when the board throws in the towel, then we will begging Supermarine to borrow their ground.

Iffy seemed more interested in moaning at the 4th official than trying to drum up some kind of performance. that annoyed me somewhat.

Exactly, you can't blame the officials for a poor team performance.

Not Peter Reid thanks!
Don't get to many of the games because of work so won't give my opinion on Iffy as I haven't seen many matches.
I can't imagine any changes happening even if the board wanted to though as they're still paying King every month and they simply can't afford anyone else. Unless Sir Seton puts some more money into the club.

Nothing wrong with our chairman in my view. Hes the one who has saved us on a number of occasions - using his own personal money to balance the books. No he hasn't. Willie Carson is the chairman, I think you're confusing him with the major shareholder, Sir Seton Wills, who definitely has saved the club several times.
