I may be the lone ranger here,  but i think the board should cut their losses with Iffy, and have a gamble with a lower league manager - (eg) Grays athletic manager, or just a young manager who has had some experience in lower league football.

In 13 games we've  won 2, drawn 5  lost 6.

In the league we've won 1, drawn 4 and lost 4.

Sure, i know the Swindon job is a hard one, but getting 7 points from a possible 27 isn't exactly good.

Some of his team selection process and loan signings have been a bit dodgey.

Whats the point in playing Roberts and Bouazza on the wings, when there best postions are upfront.  Against City,  we had Fallon and Bouazza upfront, and they caused City problems all night.

Today we had Platt, Migs and Gurney in centeral midfield positions.  If we play 3 in the middle, we need at least one of them to be attack minded.  I didnt go to the game today,  but from the sounds of the radio,  Swindon could have played all day and night, and still wouldn't have scored.

We need balance in the side.  We need people playing in their proper positions.

Next week will be fun,   no Gurney, Ifil, Hanlon or Jenkins.  It will be good to see some of the youngsters play.  At least they will put the effort in ...

I agree i think it is time to change, iffy tried his best but he has only got us 1 win and brought in some very odd loan signings. I know i may get a bit of abuse for saying this but i dont think Andy King would of done any worse then iffy if anything we would have a few more points. I would rather we got a new manager or maybe gave someone with a lot of passion (i.e Reeves) a chance.

fuck off son! YES, we played shite. YES, we're gonna struggle. YES, you werent there, so keep your mouth shut.  Soapy Tit Wank

like it or not, Iffy is here to stay. If the poison dwarf aint gonna dip his hand into his oversized (especially for him, cos he's so small) pockets for any players in January, he aint gonna pay for a 'proper' manager.

Nothing wrong with our chairman in my view.  Hes the one who has saved us on a number of occasions - using his own personal money to balance the books.  No many chairmans in league 1 have high transfer budgets.

Iffy has done ok,  but Swindon have a good bunch of players who are much better then their league position suggests.  Iffy isnt getting the best out of the boys, and hence why we need a change.

Just my two cents ...

Its the Wills family who have dipped into their pocket to bail us out, aside from his initial 400K investment some years ago Mr Carson hasn't spent a bean as far as anyone knows...(its always posible I may be doing Willie a disservice, but nobody has ever heard different.)

Unfortunately the table doesn't lie....we're in the basement, because we have too many players who are not of the required standard for this division....and possibly on the evidence Of Wycombe Boston and Posh, for the division below.

No i think we have the players, we just dont have thetaff to get the best from these players.  The players lack motivation and desire.  The only games ive seen this season where Town have been up for the game is against Forest and City.  Every player gave it there all, and you cant ask for more.  However games against the likes of Boston + Wycomble,  Town looked lazy, and the way the played was as if they couldnt be bothered.

As for the players ...

Just look at Cureton.  Played for Swindon, and couldnt score on a regular basis.  Now hes on loan at Colchester, hes scoring for fun ....

Heaton is a top class keeper

Ifil is a eratic at times, can be great, but liable to make mistakes

O Hanlon     hes a rock.  Hardly has a poor game, probs Town best defender

Jenkins is a solid pro at this level

Nicholas -  not to sure about

Migs -  when fit, oe of the best midfeilders.

Pook -  Still learning, needs to improve

Whalley -  did it at a higher level,   hasnt produced this season.

Roberts -  Hasnt got going since his injury

Fallon -  One of the top scorers in the league

Thorpe -  He used to be a quality player.  I think he can still do it at this level.  Needs time and faith

Cureton -  Doing the business at Colchester

Overall i think we have a better team this season.  However wesimply miss a competitve midfielder aka  a Roy Keane.  The midfield needs organising.  We leek to many goals due to the midfield not covering the defence well enough.  We dont score many goals, as the creativeness from midfield is crap.

We need a new manager with new ideas, who can install some confidence into the team.  The players have the ability, its just getting that ability onto the pitch.
