What a week I've had. I travelled down to Bristol on Tuesday night to see the girl, and got the news I was expecting - she hadn't changed her mind and wanted to be single. Bitch. I took it pretty well as by this stage I'd kinda had enough, but I was still pretty gutted. Went out to Lloyds bar and Oceana on the Wednesday night and duly got hammered. I even managed to down half my pint of Stella, before puking a bit back into the glass, before making a move to the toilets, puking on the floor without breaking my stride and got away scott free!
At about midnight, she abandoned me. She was also pretty hammered, and we've no idea why she did - probably I said something lary. I searched everywhere for her, before leaving the club about 1am. I continually rang her, and wandered the streets of Bristol getting more and more lost - I've been lost there before, after the 2-1 defeat at Trashton Gate in the playoff season. With no sign of a taxi, and funnily enough no one answering my drunken hails for a lift, I decided my best bet was to try and flag down one of the numberous police cars. My first 2 or 3 attempts failed, so I stepped out in front of the next one I saw. Unfortunately, the car couldn't quite stop in time and hit me in the left thigh, with my toppling onto the bonnet cutting my mouth and chin in the progress. I had a nice fat lip Thursday morning, although it went down pretty quick - still damn sore though!
The police were less than sympathetic, until I explained the situation and for whatever reason they took pity on me and gave me a lift home. Probably scared I might sue them! The second time I'd been in a policecar in a week. :|
I got home and banged on Tim's door threatening to kill him, and funnily enough, he didn't open his door.... He came into the kitchen the next morning, and the awkwardness between him and her was unbareable, but I had no idea who he was, and in my immensely hungover state I just lay on the kitchen table with my head in my hands.
We stayed up talking for a while. Then Thursday morning we had even more sex, before sleeping for most of the day, before watching Meet The Fockers. We had a really good time, stuffing our faces and messing around, staying up quite late again. Then Friday I delivered the killer line: "You know, we really aren't acting like a couple who've just split up". At that stage she broke down, and asked me to take her back, give it another try.
That, coupled with avoiding the fun and games in the Merlin due to traffic, and two great results for Swindon and England, have given me an eventful and decent week!! I'm curbing the drinking from now on though!

Whens the book out?!
I hate to say it but there must be some reason why you keep splitting up. Somethings obviously not right.

I can barely hold back the tears, that's a beautiful story. It reminds me of the time Ben split up with his ex, Andy. Times'a great healer.

I'd love to say "it'll all be ok now" but in reality, it probably won't, so enjoy the sex and her company while it lasts though!

Saying that the city 'til I die thing is quite funny. Just registered as City_Til_I_Dai.
