From my Watford grapevine:
"For a month, to prove he can do it and stop being labelled a 'good prospect', according to our Aidy."
He's young, quick with a powerful shot & seems to have spent the summer in fertilizer which as well as helping him grow and fill out has turned him into sh!t by all accounts. Shame really, though our old boys tend to blossom chez toi, so fingers crossed. How's young Jack getting on?
Iffy said Bothroyd was a mate, so the source isn't a surprise, but it's not exactly an older, wiser head is it? Nor a youthful overachiever. Looks like Curo or Thorpey will be shipped out on loan somewhere as a result.According to someone on thisisstfc........

I don’t think you could make up a more unlikely rumour if you tried, probably means there may be some truth to it unfortunately
Would never get sanctioned by the FA as an emergency loan given the amount of strikers we currently have at our disposal and don’t forget the likes of Heath and Shakes were forwards by trade before their arrival at the CG.
Their tick but not that tick.

I haven't heard anything of it yet, doesn't sound like the type of player Iffy was after either.

Well, it's not ideal, but iffy knows his strikers, and you've gotta expect someo emoving out before the weekend. Giv ethe guy a chance it could be just what we need, the experienced strikers haven't worked maybe a young'un will.

Roberts attitude must have something to do with him not being given a chance.

He never seems to be considered, does he? Weird. It is getting a bit stupid now. I remember pointing out a King interview, where he was talking about a striker partner for Rory and Roberts didnt get a mention and again. Its stupid, because Bradford aside, every time he has come on he has looked dangerous. I hope this is part of Iffys plan, he'll play Roberts on the wing because we are not creating enough. Christian Roberts does still play for us right?
