It's the lustrous hair, isn't it? Must find out which conditioner he uses, as it's magic. Great vision & passing play as well.
Modelling himself of the original hair hero midfield dynamo himself Stefani Miglioranzi. (would love to hear him on the LSP)

A relatively routine win in the end, without hitting the heights of last Saturday.
Enough moments of quality to make the difference.
Let's not forget that we were troubling the top 3 at this stage in the Flynn season. Feels a bit more of a sustainable effort this time, but let's see how it goes.
Terrible viewing ground as has been said. Managed to find a seat with a clear viewing angle of both goals but not much else.
Counted about 35-40 pillars around the 6 or 7 standlets.
About 16,700 suited & booted, flat cap wearing souls squeezed into Holker Street in the 50's. All good fun.

We have to keep this sustainable, but only Stockport has won this league in the past few season with 2 PPG, all the other winners have come in with less, so it seems there is a drop off from all teams at some point in the season and so when this drop off does come we have to make it as short as possible. At this current moment in time, it’s looking good,as we haven’t even seen Tafazolli, Murphy or Knight-Lebel all 3 I’m sure will display their qualities in this side.

Fuck sake, forgot my prediction league entry early this season!
Sounds like a good win. With Harrogate at home next, good chance to cement our automatic promotion credentials.

As mentioned in earlier posts our high press that Glatzel talked about definitely drops off when he is not there with Drinan who always works his socks off and that to my thinking partially accounts for the decline in the second half performance yesterday.
Having only seen Palmer last Tuesday and on the TV yesterday, he is not to my mind going to work as hard relying more on positional play and what I have seen of Princewill is much in the same vein and it is not a combination that gives the same input to the team.
I always assume that IH can see when things require changing hence the mass substitutions but I do think that the balance is sometimes compromised with them.

Now have the same amount of away wins after 35 days of the season as we did after 200 days last season.

Very good first half, then went to rat shit a bit on 60 minutes and were pressed into silly mistakes.
Ripley who had little to do, made a superb save.
Should of had more but for poor finishing and not squaring the ball.
Too early to call but very good.
MOM for me was Drinan.

Barrow manager post game “ Either at half time or now is probably the lowest I have felt in my coaching and managerial career.” - considering he lost twice on penalties (with Solihull Moors) at Wembley within a week i’m suprised at that.

Some stat on the LSPod - we reached 15 points after this game, the points total we had on December the 7th last year!

Regurgitating what I've just posted on twitter:
Watch out for Holloway's calendar year 2025 Reds! #STFC
2025 League: P30, W16, D8, L6, F57, A35, Pts 56, PPG 1.87 (autos promotion form)
Home: P16, W8, D6, L2, F29, A22, Pts 30, PPG 1.88
Away: P14, W8, D2, L4, F28, A13, Pts 26, PPG 1.86
Long term trend very positive. The most striking turnaround under Holloway has come on the road... where STFC are now averaging 1.86 PPG, and conceding less than a goal a game!
Previous 36 away League games under Flynn/Gunning/Kennedy 🤮:
P 36, W 4, D 14, L 18, Pts 26, PPG 0.72 (This is 4th tier historically shockingly bad)

Also it was January the 1st before we won our 5th league game. And, the 1st February before we got our 3rd away win in the league.

*Yet Players can be coached to do something differently. I can't think of a time where our forward line has had this depth and where they're actually scoring goals.

In the case of Princewill certainly, he seems to right now play in instinct and relies on his technique right to the final moment and his decision making is not always the best but that can be worked on. Palmer, on the other hand wants still the ball played to the position he’s in, that’s not a problem if we have the quality of ball to get the ball to him, especially from goal kicks. He was getting frustrated especially with Ward on Tuesday that he was not being found, Ripley will have to find him going forward
