I see as well that under Ollie we seem to be constantly prefixed as we were under PdC.

We are no longer "Swindon Town FC" we now seem to be "Ian Holloways Swindon Town FC".

Is the man becoming bigger than the club?

Not bigger than the club but definitely a bigger media reputation & more likely to get clicks / views.

Not just on Sky and media it seems fans on other forums and on FB are now naming us as Ian Holloways STFC.

It doesnt bother me but we are a much bigger club than just a manager and I appreciate all the big clubs in L2 suffer the same fate......Oh wait a minute...nobody else in L2 has a famous manager.....as you were.

Quirk of the fixture calendar that we're away to Barrow on an international break weekend when I'm on my holibags. Last year was painful following in a local bar. Butterworth's late late equaliser meant the Efes tasted a bit sweeter but I didn't realise exactly how the game had turned out.

Have a feeling Butterworth will be on the scoresheet Saturday.

Am I imagining things or was Butterworth out of favour at the start of the season? Not a decision I expected. Good player.

Well, Holloway told him and Delaney they weren’t in his plans and to find new clubs. Now Ameen has gone I suppose it leaves the door open again for Butterball.

I don't mind a bit of swagger when we are the ones a swaggering. Though it annoys me when its applied to other teams Smiley

Don't mind if we are Fred West's or Gary Glitters Swindon as long as we keep winning and go up!

Yep...it's the same weekend.  Return visit 52 weeks/364 days after the last one.

This fixture has been a firm fixture since we moved to Scotland 4½ years ago.  Will be the 5th time in 5 seasons that my eldest & I have made it to Barrow (A).  And a mere 3rd visit for Ardiles Jnr Mk II.  The other 4 have ended P4 W2 D1 L1, and I'm very hopefully we'll add another 'W'.

The pitch, even when it hasn't been hammering it down, is a heavy one from memory.  So will be interesting to see whether 'lump it to Smith' is replaced with 'lump it to Palmer' at the first opportunity.  I hope not.  I'd love to see Kilkenny given the opportunity to develop in to a proper Midfield General type, if possible.

First game of the season for me (to be followed swiftly by another next weekend.)  Genuinely excited/up for this.

For anyone who doesn't have a dodgy Firestick....note that the game (as are all EFL games) is on Sky Sports+

Are 3pm Saturday games on Sky Sports+?
