New away shirt is a beaut

Haven't bought a shirt in yonks but I do like this one. I'm a bit of a sucker for a blue away shirt, the 2014 Inter Milan style one was today's gym shirt and I also bought the blue/black Imagine Cruising effort from a few years back.

Definitely getting that. Size guide would be nice. Last years home large was a little bit tight but my mate had both and said the away was a larger fit in the same size.

Looks decent.
Not sure we needed to send a load of players to a fairground to launch it though.
Waste of money, we’re skint etc.

A pic of it online and a pic of someone wearing it would have sufficed

It’s not my schtick at all. You should try reading my posts. I’ve not been wrist slitting due to the lack of signings like the large majority. I also don’t believe what other posters are saying about our finances.

…I’m not sure it comes under grumpy to question why we’ve done a kit launch video at a funfair?

Just marketing innit, the logic is that the kit will be seen by more and sell more (and the club gets more social media engagement) than if we just published a few pics of players wearing it around the ground.

With the way that football kits seem to be more fashionable now, there probably is something in it - if we can sell a bunch more kits than usual (and it being nice helps I'm sure!) then great for the coffers.

I get the logic behind what you are saying but the large majority of your clientele are going to be Swindon fans, who already engage with the clubs social media who would engage with any sort of kit launch.

…not a social media expert but I can’t see why / how a funfair video will make more people watch it or engage people outside of the STFC fanbase…or further down the line make anyone who isn’t an STFC fan buy one.

Just so you know, the fairground is in the county ground car park, so it didn't take much to think up the idea, and i doubt they paid to use it.
