95-97 looks a bit like Wycombe, do you support Wycombe? I also used to have that kit

I don't really understand the "it looks like another club" stuff - it's an away kit, it by definition can't look like a Swindon kit. Are we supposed to come up with a completely unique idea because I'm not sure cyan and magenta stripes will go down very well.
Absolutely fucking would buy.

I heard it’s the main reason Iandolo decided to leave. He knew the fairground away kit reveal was coming up and he couldn’t risk it…
Would have poked himself in the eye with the Candy Floss stick!

I wore my 97-99 away kit on Wednesday.
Still fits!

The away kit colour choice from 81-84 and 87-89 was interesting/brave/.

It never bothered me as it was only our away kit. I don't actually remember anyone else making any adverse comments about it either. Times change I guess...or maybe my memory has just gone to shit... Edit: could also be that we didn't play Oxford much around those times...

I like the away shirt, much better than the home shirt which is terrible IMO. Dissapointed with the shorts though, just plain blue, would have been good to continue the shirt theme somehow, gold lines, piping etc.

Sorry, am I not allowed to have an opinion? I don't like it. I like 95-97. But I only have 00-02 (home & away): Much more good than bad over the years I reckon. 2007-08 were awful though. I wonder how red & black quarters would go down. Would be a bold move & a proper nod to history.

Those Kingswood kits were miserable. Nowadays it looks like what a jockey might wear at Haydock, but it's certainly different. I'd much prefer a 1901-19 offering than an 1897-01 however!

It does! Didn't seem to settle into the 'proper' colours until 1919.

I think Town should employ scientists every summer to invent a new colour so that our away kits can’t be compared to anything that has ever happened.
