Lord knows why but I've decided to go tonight...

What are we thinking in terms of the XI? I'm assuming FBT makes it and McE doesn't.

                                        Brynn

Hutton             Brewitt                     Clayton             FBT

                         Khan                        Cain

                                      Williams

               RHM                  Austin                   Wakeling

And I'm reasonably confident Adeloye doesn't make the bench!

Darcy will start over Cain

Playing Williams and Darcy in the same midfield is doomed to failure.

Here is what I'd Like to see

                                        Brynn

    Hutton             Brewitt                     Clayton             FBT

       RHM               Khan                 Williams         Lavinier

                              Austin              Wakeling

Except the right side may be a bit weak. And the middle may be a bit weak too. And not sure Lavinier is a winger. But apart from that...

Kinda expecting Jephcott to start over Austin considering that he 'couldn't play twice in four days' a week ago.

Think Shade might start tonight. Maybe the old "Williams can't play 2 games a week" myth will be trotted out

The fact that an entirely sensible human being could end-up in a place where they reviewed our squad and pulled this team together, as a serious suggestion, just shows what a farce our squad is.  I mean, it's probably 11 of our better players, none of whom I'd be completely angry at seeing in the squad next season (on their own), but a team?  Yikes, it reeks shit.

We really do need 7/8 been there and done it types added to that eleven, then you can put a team together.

Nah, it was me.

I know what I wanted to do - but couldn't fit people into the role. A more holding, tackling midfielder - well its khadji or khan (who isn't). Right wing, Shade? RHM?. Ball player mid...Cain or, er, Williams?

I guess 4-4-2 isn't very easy with our squad.

Since Khan came back from his long suspension he has not been flying into tackles, in fact looks very hesitant. Understandable, as his game is getting stuck in but the red cards have taken the edge off his game.  Hopefully will come back with time. He / we need help in this department with someone else who will put a foot in now and then.

Got zero expectations this evening. Hoping to see some graft at the very least. Given up on being entertained after 2 seasons of tippy tappy nonsense interspersed with defensive howlers. I know it’s going to be more of the same for next season but with, hopefully, a more committed squad - 2 or 3 with large cojones.

Roll on May.

Has anyone seen Cain play a good half yet?

No, but Kadji starting ahead of him fucking stinks.
