To be replaced by Ange P.

As mid season tactical changes go, that is pretty extreme. You often see managers come in mid season and shore up the defence, not sure you see many come in and throw all defensive structure in the bin. Not deliberately anyway.

Sheff United sack Ruben Selles and promptly appoint Chris Wilder again as manager!

Bewilders why they would sack Wilder in the first place on the back of a play off final loss

You put your right foot in,
You take your right foot out,
You put your right foot in,
And you shake it all about.
You do the hokey pokey,
And you turn yourself around.
That’s what it’s all about.

Mad that he keeps going back & hasn’t just told them to go fuck themselves at any point.

But he's still got bills to pay.

Hopefully something else will come up so he ditches them at the earliest opportunity

Cant imagine he was short of offers. He deserves better than Sheffield United.

How on earth is Russell Martin still at Rangers? Must be one of the worst ever appointments that.

It's win/win for Wilder though surely. If he does well, then there's professional pride and a love of the club, so he'll be happy - and if it doesn't go well, then the severance package will keep him going for many more years - or at least until the next time they need a new manager!

Wilder was still being paid by Sheff Utd, as he had signed a 3 year deal not long before he was sacked - so I suppose it don't cost them anymore to re-appoint him

Who will be sacked first - Reading or Wrexham manager ?

Reading are apparently making moves for Gillingham’s Gareth Ainsworth
