I have played against his Dda, if his son is half as good as him he will be a good player

Two of the new trialists (apparently):

For anyone there, i'm interested what shape Lindsey has set us up as. I'm fearing 3 x CB's, so please put me out of my misery.

Poor from what I saw, but to be honest I’ve been more concerned with trying not to die of heat stroke than watching the game. Struggling here, I should be less ginger

Typical preseason really.

It's bastard hot, as you can see out the window.

We've passed it around a bit. Had a few free kicks on the edge of the area. A couple of half chances.

Marine doing ok. Scored froma parrird good long shot pushed to our right, marine player got there first and pulled it back for essentially a tap in.

Ronsan (cm) , kev (lcb) and Huh? Trialists. Not over impressed with keV. Ronan might have something but I thought Minturn (?) In the middle looked best of back 3. Not really impressed with either left or right cb

All that said, really tough conditions to impress. And essentially only our first friendly. Even last year's performers aren't pulling up trees yet

If nothing else today is making it abundantly clear that we are lacking an actual striker with some kind of presence up front. If they had any doubts about needing to bring in strikers then today is making it clear we do.
