Not scoring in a friendly against Supermarine is a bit of concern I’d say.

Did we play the high pressing game Lyndsey has promised for this season.

Hmmm

Not sure what to say. In addition to my half time post, first 15-20 we looked much better than the first half. Shade was very good, and whoever was playing left wing has a good touch too. Aguiar did hit the post, our #14 could have reacted a bit quicker to the rebound .. maybe

Half went on, we faded. Marines second was a good goal. Great cross in

As a whole it was a run out in the 🌞🌞🌞. We were fairly poor, but context is key. How hard have we trained? How much were we putting in. Etc.

That said, nobody is going to come away from the match thinking 'yup, going up'. It was fairly poor.

Do pre sessions ever tell us much though? Probably not

Just got back, can’t understand the meltdown tbh. Wouldn’t sign the number 2!(trialist). Thought the young lad in the middle in the second half was class. Polish sounding surname.

Does anyone know if the son of Adam Hart has come from another reputable club, or are we giving him preference in senior pre season games over players from the academy for the sake of nepotism? Feels a bit Harry Agombar.

What meltdown? Other than physically melting by being clever and standing at the sunny end.. doh

Hard to know how to interpret that result but I would have felt better if we scored or indeed won. Sounds like Aguiar hit the post and Massey had a couple of chances. What did Massey look like?

A lot of the concern stems from it’s a short pre-season this year, I mean it’s only 3 weeks until Harrogate and with how undercooked we looked today it’s not long to really get going. Like I said earlier the lack of a striker or physical presence up front is blindingly obvious to everyone.

There was discussion earlier. Was thought to be a good player?

Not sure how long he's been in the academy. Could be a while
