Every EFL club should have one, since about 12 seasons ago. Very much a ferreting away in the background role I suspect.

Who can name all of ours?

Went on Wayback Machine, which archives this link back to September 2023. Apparently it's been Vicki Eyles all season.

Assume this is to do with STFC?

I take it he's talking about the astonishing price hike of Kinder Eggs? Or maybe some other contraband?  Hmmm

Makes you wonder

'Ooooh...and it makes me wonder...

There's a feeling I get, when I look to the West...
And my spirit is crying for leaving.

In my thoughts I have seen, rings of smoke through the trees...
And the voices of those who stand looking...'

Never could a bunch of lyrics, with the verses be a more accurate metaphor of the club right now  Crying

Dazed and confused would probably fit better.

Time to strap in for what could be an interesting summer. Trust have woken up and gone in hard on Clem. Are we seeing the wheels of change happening?

It's pretty clear from the marketing push that the 90s Hangover is the event they actually think will do okay, the tribute festival has barely had a whisper about it

Sorry Ron, only just seen this. I saw it on a tweet from Sam Morshead, he’s usually quite a reliable sauce. I’ve no reason to doubt him. I sit amongst a group of 11 ST holders, some are very long term. None of them have re-newed as of yet. Sorry times. Personally I think we will struggle to hit 2k.
OK mate, cheers for that!

Considering it's his own words, Charlie comes across quite poorly there. He's right on some of the issues, but seems to take no personal responsibility and goes from 'there are too many people putting their oar in' to 'the DoF told me he didn't see want to keep me and I told him I'd call Clem' in a heartbeat.

Interesting that he really didn't like Jamie Russell when FBT seems to like him though. Not sure if it's just a method of getting released thing - the individual meetings is the done thing with academy players which is obviously Russell's background.

Definitely some insight though, Austin is many things but party line he is not.

Happy to see the back of him.

Yeah sure, he's right on some things.

But he doesn't strike me as a positive character to have around when things aren't going well.

I am on Jody Morris' side. He played Jephcott because he worked hard and would press. That was the 'style' he was trying to implement at the time. Austin strikes me as somebody who'd go to the chairman complaining the manager 'isnt right for the football club'   no Charlie. He just wasn't right for you.

Having Austin on the pitch has too often felt like playing with one less player. Take sentiment out of it. He's not good enough anymore.

Unless you are going to fully build the team around him, play 2 up front and have constant service into the box with genuine quality, then you are going to be a worse team with Austin in it than without.
