The only thing blocking a sale is the owner's apparent ridiculous valuation of the club. There's enough proof of other teams being taken over that the interest in English football clubs is booming. We need complete seperation from the little gang of miscreants that've been attached to this club for the last decade, they are bleeding the club dry and we won't survive much more.

But this is the problem no sustained period of pressure on the ownership ever builds up. They get a bit of criticism and then go on a half arsed chsrm offensive with a few interviews and statements of lessons being learnt and this blunts the Trust and journos for a few months as they give them a chance to demonstrate the club has changed. 

This cycle is becoming a constant rinse and repeat exercise every 6 months, you already know the type of stuff that will happen come January if we are struggling again. At some point surely enough becomes enough and everyone says we don’t believe anything they say anymore?

For me they need to be forced out before any attempt at the ground redevelopment is done. Builders don’t tend to hang around if they aren’t paid and you just need to look at Northampton, Port Vale, Oldham etc for long periods of stands being unfinished. With the the DRS supposedly first in line there’s a real danger our most ‘modern’ stand being left in a condition where a lot of it is unusable.

If we go down (and we will under this regime, be it this year or next) we will not come back. This window has shown already we cannot compete with the higher end of the national league. Some well run, ambitious clubs there.
