I love a bit of lardy cake.

The wife's grandfather used to own & run a bakery and makes the best lardy I've ever tasted.

Bassett Bakery do them, but it's not a patch on his.

Used to get them in Devizes but the Bassett Bakery is the best ive tasted in ref to limited supply....microwave zap it...cup of tea...lovely...

The Co-op in Old Town often have them (think other Co-ops in town do too). Also 3 Trees Farm Shop at Chiseldon.
