Is Mythology the link?

Rolex have a Cyclops lens.
Pylon (floodlights) was a figure in Greek Mythology.
Paul (B)Odin.
Think you may be on to something there.....the only other Bodin link to mythology (sort of) I can think of is Jean Bodin (Paul Bodin's middle name is John, or Jean in French). Jean Bodin wrote about Demonology and witchcraft.

Nooooooo Wobbly Bob, you didn't even hit the corner flag with that attempt  Wink

DV - I'm sure PdC did have words with all of them but not the answer. Albeit a credible one!

 Pint

Rolex 'root beer' is a watch.
Pylon is an Australian beer apparently and could be poured into a Bodin craft beer glass.

If that's not the answer then it bloody well should be.

Here we go then....

The Rolex clock at the County Ground is installed on a metallic structure that looks similar to the floodlight structures:

Floodlight structure:

Paul Bodin was an architect who designed the Viaur Viaduct, that also has a structure similar to the floodlight structure (albeit horizontally....):

EB & WB. I love the theories. They go beyond what my expansive mind would reach towards. However...you're incorrect.

It's much more simple than that. Will have to visit this Viaur Viaduct though!

The floodlights failed and messed up Tranmere

Bodin failed with that penalty that messed up Wales qualifying for the WC

Rolex - no idea. Btw, your original clue quoted the Rolex Clock, you later quoted a Rolex watch

Which is it?

I'm guessing it's something to do with Paolo Di Canio but I don't know what.....
