Good to see Power hasn’t been throwing the chequebook at the parasites. Interesting that, say, Barnet spent more than us.

I love the fact that Leyton Orient have paid more than we have...

I also love that Aldershot have paid £112...

The fact that Sarfend spent about 10 times more than us, suggests PB won't be hanging about here next season.

In lower league terms, that has to be about the worst return on money spent.  I guess if they got someone who can be sold on, then that would ameliorate the waste.

Interesting to see Chris Robertson and Marc Richards were/are not processed by an agent so to speak but a certain Kang Solicitors.

On further reflection, it does show what a good job Flitters did in recruitment last summer, to make us at least competitive.  When he left we were in the PO's, of the teams above us only Accy and Wycombe, had spent less, of those above or around, Luton, Notts, Cov, Exeter, Lincoln and Mansfield had all spent more.

Of course spend on agents fees guarantees nothing, as Spireites have shown..... but it does indicate, if you want a certain level of player then you have to pay.   Andrew Fitton didn't like using agents, we went down.

It takes a certain talent to recruit on a shoestring.... Ainsworth and Coleman have it, buth they've both been at their respective clubs, for in football terms, years.

I am including both responses below as they are entirely interchangeable for many fans, feel free to use on other social media outlets.

Its disgusting and shows the lack of ambition that Power has, pocketing all the clubs income and not spending what is necessary...

Or

Its entirely correct that the club are not spending money on these grasping and pointless individuals, the club and FA should do something about them.

Yes this was noted, is it definitely 'the' Brian Howard though?

Brian Howard managed to play for Swindon, Oxford, Reading and Bristol City. Always found that weirdly interesting. Cant be many who played for all of them.
