Eh? Surely ST holders don't need an extra ticket do they? Just use their STs again?

Was that the box office guys diplomatic way of saying not a lot of tickets have been sold

Been yonks since I've had any human contact with the place, all been online

Brian? Both Brian and Dave used to run the place - both great, knew STFC like the back of their hand. Both retired now. Got some young whippersnappers in there now no doubt  Cheesy

I havent spoken to anyone either, the online system does work well (for 99% of normal people, so not me, but that's by the by.)

That said, has anyone ever printed a ticket and got it to work in the turnstiles? I never have.

Always works fine for me at STFC. Not had a problem using it at Fulham either.

You're telling me mate! When I lived in Swindon he was practically my godfather. Don't get to see him so much nowadays for obvious reasons but he's still a legend. Used to work for the railway and could tell you how to get from Timbuktu to the north circular via Narnia any day of the week. His STFC knowledge is similar.

It's a shame how neo liberalism hollows out eye to eye contact.....

The Post Office's  counter staff are on strike atm about Tory cuts....no need to engage with a person over the purchase of a stamp...in much the same way as no need for football fans to watch their team in a discrete lower level competition, but rather Chelsea TV.

I did like the old TE chant of head to boot contact to the tune of Edwin Starr.

I don't speak to him eye to eye so much because I moved 100+miles away, Reg. It really wasn't the Tories fault (after all, you'd be hard pushed to find a community less enamoured with the Conservatives than the Taffs around here.)

!Take Two!

1-3 loss. Gasheads and self-righteous fans of other clubs will call it karma. The rest of us will put it down to the usual problems most of which cannot be addressed until at least January.

Happy Tuesday!

With Doughty and JSW out I can see nothing other than a Swindon loss. 1-2.

If they set up 2 solid banks of 4, stay organised, kick us then leave us to self destruct its a loss unless we get some decent width. Without Doughty we'll struggle to play through the banks as we're too slow and predictable. I'd put Furlong on the right and rest Barry. Our movement is really bad and for that reason I'd pick Goddard who looks as though he's got a brain.
Not feeling positive today. I think we'll be ok this season but I think it may get worse before it gets better.

2/1 is a massive price for a Town win against a distinctly average Rovers side.

Vigs
Furlong Branco Jones Thompson Brophy
Kasim Murray Thomas
Goddard
Obika

This will be one of those midweek games where the stayaways end up saying 'Bollocks. Why did I choose to miss that one'

4-1. Murray, Obika, Goddard, Branco.

Hopefully they read out the combined crowd of both games.
