Remember the season we gave the Townend to away fans, who bloody made that decision?
Ricki Hunt. The chairman at the time. Bloody ridiculous decision soon reversed.

For a laugh can we open up the bank for home fans and offer discounted prices?
there wont be enough town fans to fill the other 3 sides let alone the bank

That doesn't make any sense.

I don't think any fan, Rovers or Town, should have to pay more than they paid for the abandoned fixture, regardless of 'policy', overspill, policing etc. A simple solution would be to charge anyone with a stub £19. Fill the away section of the Arkells then move on to the Bank, as usual. Some Rovers and Town fans will benefit a little, the remainder will pay the going rate. The club claw back a bit of lost goodwill and should benefit financially.

It won't happen though.

I presume it's not allowed, although you can do a certain number of promotions in a season.

We could have offered Town fans this game plus the Bury game as £30 for both, would have been a way of covering costs & keeping the Town fans happy.

of course it makes sense, what is the point of opening up a stand (the bank) for town fans when you have 3 stands that are not full to capacity with town fans

It's the way you wrote it that's confusing.

Never mind.

Maybe Lee Power can learn a thing or two from Eastleigh...

Apparently, Rovers have sold 63 tickets so far for the re-match.

Yeah, but if they only sell, say, 300 tickets the police bill will be substantially lower.
