Well it's a start.
Maybe try something like this at some stage.
This is the plan, but those giant banners are a pain in the ass to paint up or expensive thing to buy printed.

Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but would love to see something similar to the Crystal Palace fanatics fan group at Swindon.
Yes it is a bit choreographed, but at least there is some atmosphere for the majority of the game.
Although a bit of noise would probably upset those who prefer to watch football in reverential silence.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? Crap!

We're big fans of the Palace fanatics. We try and take experience from them as much as we can without copying them . We moved to the Town End this season to try and keep moaning moaners at a minimum. People were stopping to take photos of our banners at the Coventry game, so it's looking promising so far

And there are plenty more worthy causes than that one. But it doesn't devalue either. If you don't want to donate, don't, but don't try to engage in some kind of donation oneupmanship.

Tis true. It's only my opinion.

I can't shift the mental image of a bunch of shirters turning up at a women's or youth football match with streamers and balloons.

I wish Mr Box and his chums well with their endeavours but a bit more vocal support from our fans during games would be just as likely to lift the team - and wouldn't cost anything.

We agree. So we're hoping to lift the atmosphere and hope that a few streamers and flags etc may be the catalyst that gets some fans a bit more up for the game than if there wasn't anything. We all sing as much as we can, so we're just trying to do our bit in encouraging others to get into singing. I can't shift the mental image of a bunch of shirters turning up at a women's or youth football match with streamers and balloons.
So? Means more funding and support for the Ladies team. And means fans get another day out at the football!

Sorting out ordering the stuff for the Rovers display tomorrow. Looking for one last little push for stuff to make it as good as possible. Couple of quid if you can spare it Hopefully we can help add fuel to the already flammable atmosphere. (Bad analogy, I know). paypal.me/gwreds
