And the Kassam ISN'T a comedy ground?
No. It is not a comedy ground. It's worse - a shit design in a shit location that has no redeeming features whatsoever.

The good thing about the Manor was the choice of pubs. We used to walk passed the hospital, then the church and there were 3 or 4 decent boozers. Only ever had trouble once before a Simod cup tie or somesuch.
Think we pissed it 4 nil and a couple of scummers had sore heads!

Only thing it's got going for it is that it's better than the old Withdean ground. Terrible views and difficult to get to. At least the Manor had 7 sides. .

The Withdean, while being pretty awful, always had the feel of a temporary home. The Kassam appears to be a permanent albatross. I'd take the Manor over both of them.

Reading that on the yellows forum I assumed it was written by 15 or 16 year old lads, not blokes near retirement age.

It is? I've been talking to an Oxford fan on Twitter who's involved in their display. It's been just shy of a friendly conversation. Much prefer this to the childish insults and boring bickering all over social media in the build up to a match. I'm very excited to have two opposing tifos at the same time. I'm reserving all my yellow scum insults for the day. They've raised about £650 for theirs so far.

A post on a piss stained yellow forum claims that James Cuntstable will be paraded around the pitch. I hope so, I like singing that song.

Tickets go on sale today. The OS doesn't say how many allowed per ST holder. Not helpful. Queues already at CG.

You need 300 points + to get one today. You can get as many as you need/like providing all your mates have this number of points too.

Shouldn't this thread be like Facebook this morning and be full of people noting that they have bought their tickets this morning and how they are going to get proper nawty up in Oxford - I am frankly ashamed of you all!

We got our tickets today. We are going to the Jolly Farmers first, then to Browns for a delightful spot of high tea. Then on the piss up the Cowley Road. We are really looking forward to the day out.

We might challenge the locals to a game of Aunt Sally. It's the only thing they're good at, ol' boy ;-)
