Yeah no, totally agree. I mean, I have my main wife, but once or twice a year I fuck off to Liverpool to see my other wife who I've known since primary school.
Don't forget your Thai wife, or your wife on Barry Island.

I am going with my two lads, I have to own up but Liverpool is my second team as I supported them as a kid in the 70's before discovering real live football in the early eighties at the Town as a yoof. Swindon is and will always be my team(ST holder pretty much since the prem) but I always cheer on Liverpool from a Premier perspective and try and get to at least one match a year Queue abuse
I remember when Liverpool were a humble Div 2 side for many years in the late 50's early 60's, they were quite capable of losing to Worcester City in the Cup. When they went up in 62 I think, I was quite taken by Alf Arrowsmith....great name for a striker, but it wasn't enough for me to stop thinking they'd somehow got lucky on the back of the Beatles, and lacked class. An opinion confirmed when Shankley showed how to lose disgracefully, when Town turned them over in 1970.

I'm going to the Dorset chilli festival on Sunday. I've got zero interest in friendlies, particularly against some 3rd rate premiership team.

When they went up in 62 I think, I was quite taken by Alf Arrowsmith....great name for a striker Another great name for the scousers (back when the scousers had scousers in the team) was Brian Kettle in the 70s. Only played a handful of first team matches, but something like 500 for their reserves which must be a world record never to be beaten.
