why aren't all the efforts always put into supporting the team?
It had always astonished me but more so lately that so much of the game is wasted all slagging of away support and Oxford. Maybe Maybe that's why the general match day atmosphere is is muted
I agree with this. Port Vale away was pretty good though. We were singing about the team the entire time. However, with it being against franchise with the media here... it's a good opportunity to send abuse their way that the entire country would have done themselves. As long as we're supporting our team throughout, I don't have a problem with singing about those we dislike.

Could we not get 4000 balloons with "Franchise Scum" written on them?

Im all for a sing song, but why waste time singing anti MK songs? They hear it every game anyway so doubt they give a fuck about it, same with the media

There will no doubt be a focus on pre Tuesday abuse of city too. I wouldn't say I hate mk with a passion, more don't agree/dislike what they did/their values...not something for me to get riled about. Support the team, be the twelfth man, back the lads. Focus on making the town end what it should be....rocking.
Jay, u mentioned u have a couple of things planned for this game?

Filled with piss, and with a team of crack catapulters to burst them as they float over the away section!

Not sure they would float if they were filled with Piss. Just a minor detail I know...........

Surely Jay with all his influence can arrange for them to be tied to the roof above the away fans before kick-off, then released in a golden shower at a suitable moment?

On the other hand, with a good launch position and favourable wind conditions accompanied by the correct Helium to Piss Ratio for each Balloon you may be onto something.

There used to be a guy who followed the Town religiously. Home and Away. I was in my teens ( circa 1978 ---> 1983 ) at the time and this guy was a Legend to me and my little oik friends at the Time. He used to travel to a lot of the away games on a big scooter thing. He was known as shitbag to us back in the day. REASON. He wore a Colostomy bag and used to change it in the toilets when it was full and launch the full one into the Away End from the Home Fans on the Stratton Bank.
I can even remember a chant from the the Town End urging him on on occasion.
SHITBAG, SHITBAG, SHITBAG. etc.etc.etc.
If he is still about and anyone knows him. Sounds like we need a bit of free Consultancy.
Anyone remember this guy or is it just me that recollects ?

I always harboured thoughts of hurling black plastic bags of dog shit from outside the ground into the Bank when occupied with the Yellow filth
