It was a genuine question.

God there's some sensitive souls on here.

Probably not enough to balance out the insensitive ones.

I thought the money raised was to get behind the team? How would this idea promote that?

Come on.  A silhouette of Jan Aage Fjørtoft in full flight is about as iconic an image as you can get with Swindon Town.  And the image was all about us.  He may have carried it on with Middlesbrough and Sheff United, but the aeroplane was pioneered when he was our player.  It's about the joy & relief he (and we) felt when he finally broke his duck in that Cup game vs Ipswich, and the goal spree that followed.  Not enough to keep us in the Prem, but a ray of sunshine in an otherwise challenging season.

Do it, Jay.

How about Harry Agombar, might be the only chance he has to make an appearance at the County Ground

No one wants a banner of this

Jan Aage is a great idea though

Good work Jay. Nice idea, but money permitting you should try and double the size. 6ft by 5ft will get lost in any kinda crowd. Sippo is a miserable cunt.

I agree. I'm going to follow your massive counter-demonstration of passionate club support.

Fjortoft = nice idea, but for my two pennyworth I think the bulk of the money should go on team support. A Jan banner would be ok if it doesn't  cost much. And Sippo is a cunt like the rest of us so stop jumping on him.

Yay the TEF is back. I miss the days when people were like this. All this happy clappy stuff is not what the TEF was built for...

I'll do it as cheap as I can. I have £200 left in the bank for our support stuff. I was going to buy 4 huge flags, sew them together then print out a silhouette on a few A3 bits of paper taped together (unless I pay for A0 or something) then use the stencil as a guide to paint it on myself.

Then to make it legal in football grounds I'll get some fire retardant treatment spray.

White on red would work well. Shall we hang it somewhere, run two sticks up either side like the image below or use it as a surf banner on DRS?

Does anyone have any thoughts on words I could put on it?

I have one of Fjortoft's socks, unwashed from 1993. I'm going to bring it to the match and swing it around above my head.
