I think I posted before that we'd need to beat the Slavers and Franchise to have a chance of automatic promotion.

I'll revise that now to a draw at the Gate, beat Franchise and now have to beat PNE in what could be a fantastic away day.

Things'll change again before the end of the season.

Having looked at Preston's fixtures again there are actually some fairly tough games in there. Its no easier than our run in really. MK probably have the best run in to be honest. If they find form again I wouldn't rule them out.

There is a symmetry a-coming.

Last game of the season - Orient at home will see us up

The yellow filth's cast down to non league was Orient at home

Whatever happens, you have to absolutely love this season. As I said last week, just to get things into perspective...

This time 4 short years ago (and it feels like less), we were in  24th spot with 32 points, our main striker was Calvin Andrew* and we were managed by....

.....Paul....Hart......

*Thanks to http://www.swindon-town-fc.co.uk/ as there is no way I could have remembered all that.

I know it means little but comparing fixtures I'd take ours over Prestons. There next 2 fixtures are peterborough and Barnsley who have won the last 4 and 6 in a row.
