I can't really complain, given the relative inexperience of the team.
Delph has looked quite good.
I still reckon Jones is more of a midfielder than a centre back. He's just can't cope with people running in off his shoulder.

Totally agree, a lot of work to be done in that team/formation but couldn't have asked for a better result. Well done to them!

Hoddle: Cahill has just taken a feather from John Terry's book there.
Almost as good as Stuart Pearce's carrot at the end of the tunnel.

He also described us as a counter-acting team. Thought that was a reasonable display given the inexperience. Delph showed some nice touches and movement, was hiding behind the sofa with some of his challenges early doors though! Stones seemed to get caught out of position a bit but nothing disastrous. Poor from Sterling but we've seen what he can do. Credit to Welbeck - let's hope a regular striking role at Arsenal helps him with his England form.

Good away performance, very impressed with Delph. Wilshere very average.

Welbeck > Rooney. Although apparently Rooney created 4 chances tonight.

That's a cracking result and pretty decent performance.
No reason why we can't go through that group with 100% record really. Build up a few hopes for the finals and then crash and burn as per normal.
