Morning,
Shameless self-promotion time. Myself, Andy Warren and Craig Lyus have jumped ship from the Adver to join a new project in Swindon which is investing pretty heavily in the coverage of local sport.
The website is young and will be going through plenty of development but hopefully we can at least provide something different to what's currently on offer. Obviously Town will be a major part of that.
Have a look at www.swindonlinksport.com if you have a moment, and let me know what you think.
Be gentle, it's a hungover Saturday morning.

Yeah, picked up that link from your twitter account yesterday and posted it on here in an existing thread.

Looks a good site and there can never be too much Town coverage.

Good luck with it

Did notice you had gone, the coverage is the last couple of games has been fairly poor, especially when one journo claimed N'Guessan played against Crewe!!   Onwards and upwards Sam!!  Good luck in your new project.

Have you carried over your Swindon ban from the Adver? Smiley

Probably mistook him for Williams, what with their first names being anagrams of each other. Easy mistake to make.

Is the adver a sinking ship and everyone has jumped, or has Mr Phipps just offered more money.

Useful fact, my wife's best mate is Phipps sister in law.

I used to go to school with a Martin Phipps who could fart on demand and would occasionally set light to one

Sounds like you're in for a cracker of a Christmas Party this year Sam.

The Adver is definitely a sinking ship - very often news is four or five days old before it makes the pages and then tends to get repeated for the next three or four days!!  Errors galore and full of apologies for factual mistakes.

How frequently are you looking to update the Town stories Sam?

If regularly I'd quite like to see a date on the headline so I can tell which I have already read. I do realise most people can remember what they read.

Is it?  Does it have any good Hummus recipes?
