Title: New place online for Town coverage Post by: Sam Morshead on Saturday, September 6, 2014, 09:05:25 Morning,
Shameless self-promotion time. Myself, Andy Warren and Craig Lyus have jumped ship from the Adver to join a new project in Swindon which is investing pretty heavily in the coverage of local sport. The website is young and will be going through plenty of development but hopefully we can at least provide something different to what's currently on offer. Obviously Town will be a major part of that. Have a look at www.swindonlinksport.com if you have a moment, and let me know what you think. Be gentle, it's a hungover Saturday morning. Looks a good site and there can never be too much Town coverage. Good luck with it Title: Re: New place online for Town coverage Post by: ronnie21 on Saturday, September 6, 2014, 09:56:42 Did notice you had gone, the coverage is the last couple of games has been fairly poor, especially when one journo claimed N'Guessan played against Crewe!! Onwards and upwards Sam!! Good luck in your new project.

Useful fact, my wife's best mate is Phipps sister in law. Title: Re: New place online for Town coverage Post by: kerry red on Saturday, September 6, 2014, 12:13:10 I used to go to school with a Martin Phipps who could fart on demand and would occasionally set light to one

The Adver is definitely a sinking ship - very often news is four or five days old before it makes the pages and then tends to get repeated for the next three or four days!! Errors galore and full of apologies for factual mistakes. Useful fact, my wife's best mate is Phipps sister in law. Title: Re: New place online for Town coverage Post by: Batch on Saturday, September 6, 2014, 15:03:48 How frequently are you looking to update the Town stories Sam?
If regularly I'd quite like to see a date on the headline so I can tell which I have already read. I do realise most people can remember what they read. --- Can News Monkey read the site Mr Organ Grinder? Just saw this. >.< I haven't received an invoice yet. I am 3% committing to getting you a pint in payment for the soundtrack at a game. |
