Rural Thais will eat anything as well.
Dancing shrimp salad is another bizarre one. It is a spicy shrimp salad and the shrimp are still alive.
You should at least have the decency to kill stuff before you eat it, even if it is only seconds beforehand. It's like those places in Japan where you catch your fish from a big tank in the centre of the restaurant, then they gut it and slice it into a beautiful fan for you to eat as sashimi... whilst it's still alive. Comes to your table still trying to escape. I like my food fresh, but that's a bit much.

Years ago when pubs didn't sell food as such, I used to like a pickled egg in a packet of cheese and onion crisps.
That, mixed with the evening's alcohol, made for an interesting morning dump
Or even in a bag of chips. Most good chippies still sell them. I remember eating pizza in France and egg was one of the toppings. I've never seen that in any other country.

Egg on pizza is quite common in many parts of the USA and Italy.

Why have you stopped....embourgeoisement? Still nowt wrong with a picked egg in a bag of crisps or pork scratchings. Eggs generally are smelly fart material....hydrogen sulphide style.

Minced beef on pizza is a staple Friday night food in Norway and is amazing. Never seen it anywhere else.

Bottelinos do a pizza with an egg cooked on the topping. It's my meal of choice when I go there.

Haven't been there since it was the pattern store bar. I'll try it, cheers

Or better, one cracked over the top as it finishes cooking. Looks a bit like a fried egg, tastes over 9,000 times more awesome.

My favourite pizza place here does a pizza bolognese. Stick a load of tabasco sauce on and I'm in heaven.

Yeah Fiorentina pizza, most Italian restaurants serve it over here. Egg, spinach and cheese, Zizzi do a good one

Used to have a lovely pizza in Luxembourg which has a fried egg on it. Relatively common there.

Yeah Fiorentina pizza, most Italian restaurants serve it over here. Egg, spinach and cheese, Zizzi do a good one Except in Bottelinos the pizza named Fiorentina is confusingly not as you'd expect (it's ham and mushroom)!

Just had scrambled egg on toast, with plenty of butter in with the egg. Lush
