Bet Flint's really pleased he's part of a defence shipping more goals than a cow's got cunt.

And hovering just above the bottom 4.

Traded up, eh?

One of the topics on the Bristol City Forum is called best win at swindle. I had to laugh as they forgot to mention Town winning 4-0 at Ashton Gate in January 1991 Cheesy

He doesn't recall very well then, they have only taken 4 or more points of us in a season the times in the last 22 years which is 13 seasons of games!

We on the other hand have taken at least 4 points off them on 6 occassions over the same period.

My favourite away game possibly ever was this 4-0 win at Trashton Gate in 91...lovely.

Remember many games from late 70's right through to now against Shity.

Have to say over those years we have done fairly well against them.
I remember winning at their place 3-0 and that year they were relegated. (Gary Emanuel era).
It always used to kick off next to that park and we we always escorted by police horses, with one standing on my foot once !!
....and lets not forget Darius Henderson's double.

A few of them on there are remembering the 1-0 defeat (ie Bristol win) in Sep 1990 where Junior Bent got their winner late on.  That was my first game.  Watched it in the sunshine on the Stratton Bank.

I have just renewed my aversion to Roger Malone by watching that clip.  Partisan fuckwit.  However did he hold down a job at that TV station for so long?  Four minutes, after we had them on the ropes but before any of the 4 goals had gone in, he actually says 'Who ever said Swindon couldn't play?'

No one did, you dick.  We were just 2 points behind his beloved Bristol City following that game.  I shouldn't get worked up again after all this time, but I just have.

Check out the post below taken from the Bristol City Forum under the title Train Spotters@Swindon,

Can't wait to beat this bunch of plastic cocker knee ***** that really fancy themselves and feel they have to abuse Aiden flint. Why the fck do they think he joined us instead of staying at that tin pot club livin in the 70 s?Wait and see the jet unfold a boom!

City haven't had much luck nicking our players in the past have they. They've pretty much all turned shit once they go west - Grant Smith, Matt Heywood, who else? Anyone know an ex-STFC player's career that improved after they moved to Brizzle?

For those who missed Town in the 80s, the Brizzle Shitty match is compulary viewing. Yes we were that good. Yes we were that dominant. Yes we did that against everyone!

There is also the 'rocking horse shit' moment when you see Nestor Lorenzo in a Town shirt too!

Shaun Taylor was still decent for them but obviously we got the lion share of his peak.

I had completely erased the fact that great man played for them from my memory until you reminded me.

Definitely McMahon's fault that one though. Some shit about not wanting two left footers at centre back so stuck with Adi Viveash and shipped out the cult hero.

Shaun Taylor was a lion for us. What happened to his brother, I know he played a few games

I remember when Shaun played in one game and there was a clash of heads, he went off to have some stitches put in then came back on with a huge bandage around his head, he then carried on his normal game as if nothing had happened Smiley
