well he did steer the pdc team very close to Wembley, which was an OK job by me.

If he really wants to be in management then yes his first full season was going to be important to his rep.

From what I'm told, this is to do with certain chants - not directed at her - at Bramall Lane. I can't imagine it ultimately has a lot to do with Kevin's decision.

So she heard the chants but Kmac didn't? If they weren't directed at his wife how is she relevant in the story?

I still don't buy it. If he was that upset about Sheffield he'd of sacked it off after then or the end of the season

Regardless of who he was, I personally didn't expect Paolo Di Canio's replacement to last long. I expected a little longer than this though! The timing isn't great but I'd rather he walked now than continue in to the season when his heart/head isn't with Swindon Town FC.

Also, I have absolutely no idea what this season will bring but, sadly, my leanings are more pessimistic.

One week supporting this club can result in a complete change of feeling so hopefully we can sort ourselves out.

I'm sure kmac quit due to being bombarded with spurs kids and the general weakness of the squad. As others have said by the warning signs were there last season when we got 3 spurs lads when we needed proper bolstering to gain promotion. Bullshit talk of a development squad looks stupid as that's almost what we have to make up a first team.

Why we have to keep getting players from Spurs I don't know. Convinced it ain't gonna benefit stfc though.
If we get an ex Spurs coach as manager it will say it all.

I'm still interested to know if there is a contractual or gentleman's agreement that the Spurs loanees have to play each week.

There isnt,Kmac also was asked if he wanted the spurs players or wanted his own youngsters,he tried to get his own and just got Devine. He then asked if he could look at the spurs lot, hence why they trained before joining

You of the view then that he's actually just left for personal reasons?

Down there on Tue in sponsors lounge so will be interesting to note who is there

That's great news. Law of averages say some of the youths will take a while to come up to speed, so not having to throw them in, particularly at the expense of experience pros, is good.

Unless its of a very confidential/personal matter I hope he gives an interview to clear up his reasons.

Problem is such an interview could potentially be damaging to the club, which would potentially be damaging to himself as well.

That's if he can even talk (not gagged by anything agreed as part of the resignation).

Even PDC hasn't done a kiss and tell job, presumably due to ongoing legals.

What I find most worrying is the implication that if KMac, a specialist in developing youth, looked at our youthful squad and didn't reckon he could make much of it, what chance does that leave anyone else?
