I find that highly unlikely
"Knows the players", "promising young manager", "continue Kevin's hard work" - I can see the reasons for appointing him now. Add to that he's a cheap option and I don't really think it is too far fetched.

Jed would happily give his good mate Power a role alongside him no doubt.

Doubt it, he's only got non-league experience, hasn't he?
He managed Peterborough when they were in the Championship.

I desperately don't want Mark Cooper if KMac leaves, but to be fair to him he looked to have a pretty decent career up until he got bombed out by Peterborough.

I stand corrected. Still can't see him being our manager myself.

Should he go, who do you reckon it would be and who would you (realistically) want it to be?

I'm sure Lee Power has a few mates in the game who might fancy it.

Don't know for certain, but I think it's quite clear that Lee Power is now our Director of Football, so it would likely be someone he feels he could work with, or someone who is willing to work with the players he recruits. (It won't be Sherwood, obviously, before people start thinking that's what I'm getting at.)
What I will say is that I don't think they would appoint Cooper. We all reckoned we were going to get someone shit when PDC left, but we ended up with a respected ex-Premier League Youth Coach. I don't think that we'd be looking to sign Cooper as a replacement to that.

He is certainly running the show that's for sure.

Maybe it's because he's got no tactics.

FFS.  Are things ever going to settle down? Not ideal with 3 weeks to the start of the season.

To be honest, I wouldn't be bothered if it was one of Jed's/Power's pals eg) Sherwood

At least there would be some sort of solidarity and consistency at boardroom and management level.
