Gotta be proper chip sized chips though. French fries are the work of the devil.
Sweet potatoes also make great chips - smother them in olive oil and bake in the oven.

I hate to say it, but unless chips are deep fried they are second class citizens of the chip world. I eat them as a healthier option, but oven chips/ chips cooked in a tiny bit of oil/ baked chips are just not the same.
