Sounds to mew as though Mitchell has done a Wray and spent money that wasn't his to spend.

Thought Watkins said we were on or under budget, I suppose hitting the wage cap suggests otherwise? Not that it matters much now.

Thanks 'Venks'. Interesting/worrying times for Bournemouth. Their spending is much different from what we did I suppose (just bigger), we'll see if it unravels for them as it did us.
I hope for their fans sake they don't but it must be worrying times, especially after a similar thing happened to us when we as fans were either a bit in denial of it or that we were blissfully unaware of any problems.

I think with the Muff its going to be a shit or bust season.

Give us time to work it out

So in league 1 Muff, Brentford(90 min pen), Coventry win, everyone else lost or drew (Walsall levelled)

City lose, Oxford lose.

Was looking to be a good day for us until Brentford scored.

Ritchie on the bench for them today what a waste of money

You could argue that them having Ritchie on the bench means he's still not playing for us, and that is of benefit to 'muff as, with him, it's possible we could have got more points than we have recently.

Not that I am saying that's the reason they bought, or that it's not a waste of money, but I've done it on Football manager before...

A draw Tuesday and we are 3 points off 2nd with that mahoosive goal difference. A win and we go 2nd on goal difference.

Looks like Reg's 'miracle' could well still be on.

I got that wrong. A win and we'll be 1 point off 2nd
