Yeah, because he's better then Messi That's not what I meant. He's miles better than Whelan/Delap/Whitehead, therefore its good for you.

Oh right, just booked a Travelodge in Stoke. Only 30 minute walk from the ground so not too bad.

Well having just watched them vs Arsenal they do like to batter opponents, lunging into tackles and playing the long ball, our defence will have to work very tightly together to stand up to that kind of battering all game.
Arsenal did in the main outplay them at football but didn't really look like scoring against them, but then again the Arse do outplay most sides at passing.
I think they are definately beatable if they play the same style against us Tuesday, soak up the long balls and hit them on the break, I think we could well surprise them.
I have a feeling that it will be Navarro and Miller together in midfield, might even be a game when we try changing formations with 1 up front and Ferry sat in front of Miller and Navarro giving us that little extra in midfield.
Should be a good game on Tuesday.

Watched the last 20, I don't expect to see many of that team on Tuesday but I do expect a similar style/battle. Could get tasty out there.

For the record I like Stoke. They make people moan about anti-football. This amuses me, deal with it bitches.

If it is effective and wins matches then its all in the game, everyone has that option. Many teams have become quite successful in playing that way in the past.

I do wonder though if eventually the fan base will get bored of surviving in the premier league, claim Pullis has taken them as far as he can, then appoint some manager that plays 'dynamic' football and end up sinking to league 1. Charltonitis. We'll see.

Agree, anyone that can consistently upset the money grabbing teams in the premier league can't be all bad

All of them, I would suggest getting £56m from the PL would qualify

Yes, now you say that, and the fact they sell off all there best players so that the board can probably take home a nice little return each year. Sad state of affairs at the Arsenal where the board are convinced 4th is better than a trophy!
