Anyway, more importantly what is everyones choice of drinking establishment on the day? Pint

Sounds like it's a bit lacking for away fans, unless anybody knows of anything towards the centre?

Quote
Next to the stadium is a Holiday Inn and a Harvester Pub/Restaurant that do allow in away fans. You can also park at the Harvester itself for a cost of £3. A bit further away on Dennis Viollett Road (off Sir Stanley Matthews Way) is a Power League complex that also has a bar, which also allows in away supporters, shows SKY television and you can even park in their car park for £4.50. Otherwise alcohol is available on the concourses at the back of the away end, but queues can be lengthy, especially if there is a big support.

The article on Thisis suggests it's more likely to be Wed 29th as Stoke are playing Arsenal on the Sunday before unless anyone knows anything different?

If they've decided to play us on the Tuesday following a sunday fixture, I wonder if they are planning on using a lot of fringe players, they might just underestimate us.

Yep, can't see it being more than that. Think the FL actually limit what you're allowed to charge for these ties?

I'm struggling with this, you can get train up there from London for £11, but it's difficult to get back with the latest train leaving at 10.

Going to drive up to this, stoke was my first ever away game- the season when we just avoided relegation and stoke were promoted. Think we lost 4-1 but we safe before kick off.

Reckon we will take many fans? A premiership club away in the cup over the last few years we have taken quite a few.

Even in the 3rd round against spurs last season they only had a 15k crowd so I don't think many home fans will be up this!

I think if it were a Saturday we would take a few. The day after a bank holiday, most will be skint or hungover.

We could have taken 1500-2k at one point before the O*ford draw in the JPT, but now I think 900-1200 for Stoke which isn't bad on a Tuesday night after bank holiday!

I was going to go but now going to Scumland. I'm sure others will be doing similar. Too under the thumb to go for both.
