So a while ago I was given a Ribble Carbon TT frame with a busted fork along with a few other bike bits and bobs.

Actually the fork isn't busted - but it has a carbon steerer that a stem has been over tightened on causing enough damage to make it potentially unsafe to use. Ribble aren't allow to sell their own forks individually (EU regulations) so thats one plan scuppered.

Turns out that the forks are an unusual size and style so am looking into repair at a carbon bike repair place in Leatherhead.

Like the Wiggle ebay shop though.

Anyone get any knowledge about electric bikes.. I'd be looking at something that does some miles rather than a round town runabout..

Thanks, it wasn't to bad although the unforecast rain was a bit of a pain in the arse! Probably the diciest bit was riding through the drunks of Edinburgh at 0400 dodging tram tracks and racing for the sea!

Edit - Talking of pains in the arse, any suggestions of a decent mid price range saddle as I have finally reached the end of my teather with the standard Spesch one on my bike.

My days of EPO are gone. At my age the hills don't get any smaller, just more numerous.

I don't agree with the decision to ban Sagan. Nasty accident but surely balance/self defence/racing accident. I've seen a lot worse.
