Quite surreal to think that South Korean jets flew over little ol' Stroud.

Could be wrong as after checking ( again )it seems there was 7 display teams on show. Let's stick with the Korean Black Eagles over Stroud though as it sounds pretty impressive Smiley

Black eagles, or Brietling Jet Display team, or the Jordanian eagles, or the UAE Al Fursan, or the Reds.

I'm very sure I saw the red arrows or some other formation of jets pass across Stroud earlier on. I don't know much about them so one of you lot can probably piece together what they were.
As a boy I used to watch the Red Arrows practising when they were based at Kemble. Used to see them flying over Aston Down, Minch and Chalford.

Remember that as a nipper living in Michinhampton. Saw them do the thing with concord on more than one occasion during their time at Kemble

My dad was stationed at Little Rissington then Kemble until he fucked off.  Part of his  job was painting and stickering up aircraft, presumably the arrows were included in that.

I do vaguely recall sitting in a red arrow* on an RAF Kemble family day, but I was only about 3 so it its a bit hazy. That pretty much makes me a pilot.

* to be honest, it could have been a mock up, but I like to think not.
