Yeah, they weren't any bother.

To be honest, the way the game went, for them to get away with only a 1-0 defeat probably felt like a victory in the end!

We went by coach, and had a bottle of champagne on ice if we won.
The Sunderland fans we met shared it with us & wished us good luck.

The Leicester fans a few years later were quite the opposite

Millwall horrible bastards before and after.

Yep, and coming from up here we arrived at Wembley Park with them.

Mind you, we’d had some practice a couple of weeks before getting the train from London Bridge to Bermondsey for the league game

Idiots trying to get on Swindon coaches after the game when they should have been inside celebrating

Not sure if you've seen this video before......a nightmare from hell😆

Yeah, they weren't any bother.

If I remember correctly they already knew we were fucked regarding the incoming penalty for irregular payments. They had placards showing it.
The following season I think Spurs and maybe Chelsea were caught for the same offence but only fined. Hence the hatred for Ken Bates as he was chair of the league I  think could be wrong though.

Plenty of scrapes and near misses with that lot over the years.
Been to both the Old Den and New Den, Old Den worse.

A few older mates at work went to the old den and they feared for their lives when the coaches got ambushed.

The old Den one of the few places we went to & didn’t go for a pint before the game.

We went in the Boleyn at West Ham & the Elland at Leeds, but just didn’t fancy it in Bermondsey

Aden Flint looking like he's going out in the semi-finals of the play-offs. Can you turn it round Aden? No. No. No.
