What a horrible august.  Hartlepool, crawley and franchise.  All thats wrong with football.  Apart from hartlepool which is just too far away.

Why are there so many mid week games this year?

The Season is starting later but finishing earlier, but there isn't anything going on next summer to finish early for. Seems weird.
