Haha! Bet you were surprised to see yourself on there!

why was there a vip area? kinda defeats the object of it surely
If you assume the object was anything to do with ordinary fans celebrating promotion then yes possibly. But if you go on the working assumption that it's a combination of what the club have actually said publicly about it, that it was a trial run for resuming summer concerts on the pitch a la Elton John and Bryan Adams, and yet another chance of "monetizing" what would otherwise be ordinary fans just enjoying promotion without any potential for squeezing those last few extra coins, then you have to say it's met its objectives splendidly. Whether it meets the criteria most of us would regard as a good way to celebrate promotion is immaterial. 8 quid a burger anyone?

Were you? I would've ended up stood practically next to you then as i moved after that video because a guy had his kid on his shoulders next to me. I had a green coat on and a stripy jumper  Smiley As you say it is weird how we could all have seen each other without knowing!

Considering the amount of money that the board have spent gaining us promotion I for one do not blame them if there were ulterior motives.
I chose not to attend as I have done my bit by attending the vast majority of games this season and did my celebrating last week and at Bradford, however, I am sure that those that chose to go thoroughly enjoyed it, despite the "commercialism" of the day.
PAULD, haven't you still got a downer on the club for appointing PDC in the 1st place? Haven't changed your mind yet?

Overall me and my family had a great day. My only moan is like others have said the players could have mingled with us mere mortals a bit more
And the food/drink was reasonably priced
