For a brief moment, I thought about revisiting the Curran LS podcast episode as I couldn't recall whether he mentioned how STFC managed to fight off other interested teams and secure his services. I lost any enthusiasm for this shortly afterwards.
Is there any mention of this during the interview?

With DJ's departure, our only player contracted beyond the end of next season is now Taylor Curran.
Only six others have contracts for next season (assuming Missilou's deal is EOS, I can't see anything either way on that) - Baudry, Fryers, Hunt, Iandolo, Lyden & Payne (2022).
Since Jaiyesimi joined on 27 July, we've signed 19 first team players (9 on loan) and released or sold 11 (including 3 loan returns).
Jesus but this squad is a mess.

actually, in the press conference today they talked about looking for a free agent keeper https://www.totalswindon.com/sport/press-conference-live-swindon-town-v-crewe-alexandra/Sheridan on keeper situation:
"Joe Wollacott will be playing Saturday but it is a position we need to get sorted.
He has looked sharp and hopefully will play well Saturday. We need to make sure the free agent we bring in is right for the club and is a keeper that will help us start winning games."
