Cracking result.  Many congratulations to Paolo and the lads.  Remember looking back at the fixtures 6 weeks ago.  We had Crawley, Shrewsbury,Southend and Cheltenham coming up...all competitors for automatic promotion.  We have beaten all of them.  This is why we are going up as Champions.  No one can touch us in the division.

(Unless they are plucky underdogs playing their oncetwice-in-a-decade cup final.)

Oxford lot seem to think they have been let off the hook with other results going their way after their defeat.  Don't seem to have noticed that Rotherham and Crewe both won this afternoon and now close behind them.  The race for 7th place is wide open.

Odds 1/6 as champs.......1/50 for promotion

These grapes are incredibly sour on the Chletnumb forum....

Quote
Hamish Marshall on BBC Final Score, reporting from the CG apparently. Nothing about how we'd dominate dthe 2nd or Swindon got let off time and again. Just that Swindon are well on their way and Foderingham saved the penalty from Duffy 5 mins before the goal. Mark Chapman needs a slap as well for saying top of the league Swindon got one over on their local rivals this afternoon. How about Swindon got one over Cheltenham in the top of League 2 derby? It's like they're actually afraid to say "Cheltenham". And they were using our old badge. Moaning about this because I'm not going to moan about our team who gave their all.

Whether they were better or not, the 3 points are still ours!

What does he expect, they're only really interested in the PL, so he does have a point

just back, great result, BUT imo another below par performene, just dont seem capable of knocking it about on the ground anymore, its all a bit HOOF ball,
if it wasnt for fodders this could have been a different result, will give him the benefit but thought Tehoue looks well  unfit, great attendance but the atmos was like a mid table end of season game mainly due to the piss poor cheltnum dross,
think the job is done now, oh and the ref was a complete cock

Yeah, he stood out for me too. Good player and great going forward, caused us all sorts of problems.

Was a tough game, Super Wes with a great penalty save and a couple of other great saves, just deserved MOTM over Devera.

8 points clear now with a game in hand, fuck yeah.
