Looks like he might be out injured for the opener against Barnsley, real shame, but is it time to forget about this fella.  He's like the walking wounded, excellent player when he's fully fit, but the problem, is when was he last 100% fit, he's becoming a bit of a liability.

yeah it does sound that way. And with us losing out on Smith King need to push hard to find his midfield hard man.

I think i agree with you JA.  It is a massive shame cause he does undoubtebly have the ability and i always think we look better when he is in the middle of the park for us cause of his composure etc, but as you say we never know if he is going to be fit.  He is the sort of player you could build your team around but that is just impossible at the mo.  Real shame.

He's now going to miss out on the rest of pre-season, which means he's going to be behind from the off, once the season is underway - we all know how badly that can effect players' performances.

This is bad news really, he is a class above really when fit, but I fear we've seen the best of him now, which is a real waste of his talent.

However you never know, he might bounce back well from this one.

yeah that's why we only offered him month to month contract at first - I think.  He's a fucking legend when he's in the middle playing well, but I hate to see him out there 70% fit like he was last year.

Migs is legend...injuries are too bad though, so can we afford anymore to keep him when we do need a bigger and fully fit squad? can we afford to have injury prone players?

Believe....

He'll have a fantastic season play 30+ games and pick up the player of the season award at the end of it...

He was going in hard at Aylesbury. Maybe King has told him and Whalley they both need to add steel if they want to play together in the midfield? Problem is his body simply isnt up to being a hard man. He can defend using good positions, but tough tackling is out of the question.  Sad

Weve just got to hope.

Does any one know how much migs in on a week, I mean if its not much, then no probs keeping him, but if the injuries are proving to be holding him back for months on end, could it be time to cut our losses.

I hope not , I think he's great

He is a class player, and the only reason we go thim was cos others weren't willing to take the risk.

He was class for us and was fine until he started getting injured.

Hopefully he can bounce back again and prove us all wrong!

I recon he'll be good for another contract, if we could get him to sign as a player/coach (coaching kids, and reserves perhaps) being paid a basic wage for that, and a pay-as-you-play deal thrown in.

He'll be a good coach someday, I'm sure of that.
