How could a thread about bidding for and unsettling our main rival's talisman striker, and freaking out their support, be boring? It's fucking great stuff, all the rivalry and banter, it's a huge part of what football is all about. That yellow lot were in fill meltdown yesterday. That shit is worth paying good money for.
What else should we talk about, the offside rule? Yesterday was one of the most entertaining days I've known in football considering there wasn't even a match being played. Yet we aren't supposed to talk about it?
Fucking right. And anyone who finds it boring..........you don't have to read it. Makes me laugh that the oxford lot are still clutching at straws, desperately trying to make out that he never had any intention of moving to us in the first place when the statement put out yesterday clearly contradicts that. I think it's a dead cert that he'll be off before deadline day. They even signed his replacement yesterday in anticipation. He's probably pissed them off completely by refusing to come to us. |
