It's no different to the time a few months back when we accepted an offer for Bournemouth (except he actually went there and agreed a contract), and that didn't affect him, or our club.
So he's messed Bournemouth about in the past already then?

Who would you drop to play him. £250K for the fans idol to your biggest and dearest idols. End of story. Pox accepted the offer. Nothing more to discuss. Respect to Constable but that is not the issue. Their Board wanted a deal. Now imagine Caddis, Ferry, Ritchie, Flint, MacCormack etc being sold to Pox for £250K irrespective of the players decision - How would you feel ? Exactly. Their Board fucked up especially announcing it. All Clubs but Swindon but what about ambition ? Conclusion - Compare the current standing of our mutual Clubs ? - I know where I would rather be taking away the blinkered rivalry.

http://www.crawleyobserver.co.uk/sport/crawley-town-fc/more_transfer_frustration_for_crawley_town_1_3442321CRAWLEY manager Steve Evans had had two bids for strikers rejected.
Reds are keen to strengthen their attacking options in their bid for promotion from League 2, and Evans today confirmed he has had offers rebuffed for Hearts attacking midfielder Ryan Stevenson and Oxford United frontman James Constable ... Evans confirmed: “We are some distance apart in what we offered to what those clubs wanted so we will move on to alternative targets we have identified.
Looks like Blackpool are after Barnet, hence the bids I'd laugh my tits off if Constable ended up at creepy.

Poxford now have a "will he won't he" situation throughout the transfer window, if not to us but to someone else - personally I think the whole saga is great
Each to their own. I find this meaningless thread extremely boring. Anyway, tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How could a thread about bidding for and unsettling our main rival's talisman striker, and freaking out their support, be boring? It's fucking great stuff, all the rivalry and banter, it's a huge part of what football is all about. That yellow lot were in fill meltdown yesterday. That shit is worth paying good money for.
What else should we talk about, the offside rule? Yesterday was one of the most entertaining days I've known in football considering there wasn't even a match being played. Yet we aren't supposed to talk about it?

Banter is a modern term for being a knobhead. It's not for me.
I enjoyed the whole episode, yesterday. Now it's like grasping on for dear life to a joke that was only mildly funny in the first place. Now had he actually signed...

Did you really just say that?
